GreenUP − Development of new unsaturated polyester resins with high value, based on raw materials derived from renewable resources.
This project has two main objectives. The first one is related to the introduction of natural materials that sum more than 50% of the final polyester formulation. The second one consists on the partial or total replacement of styrene as crosslinking agent.
The introduction of bio-based raw materials led to a deep study of their reactivity and the development of new polymerization methods.
From the GreenUP project, two new products have already been launched: ERIS 130 and ERIS 140.
The GreenUP project was concluded
The GreenUP project was concluded in June 2015. After a strong effort, the team is proud to present two new unsaturated polyester resins, made with green based raw materials.See More
The third meeting took place
The third meeting took place, with advances in the understanding of the mechanisms involved in the polymerization reactions and their impact in mechanical properties of the resins
